It has a slew of updated features, including an altimeter that can measure altitude to give you a better record of your exercises. It also has a built-in GPS for tracking your runs and bike rides. The main new feature with the Apple Watch 3 is the inclusion of LTE and cellular capabilities with the device – meaning it can do just about everything your phone can do. This feature isn’t for everyone though – so Apple offers a slightly less expensive version that nixes this. If the price tag is still a little high for you, the discontinued Apple Watch 2 is still a great fitness tracker, or the Tom Tom Spark 3 below.

Additionally it is waterproof up to 40 m, making it a great alternative to the Apple Watch at less than half the cost.
